The AT&T Cotton Bowl Classic is a college football bowl game that is played each year in Dallas, Texas. Founded in 1937, it is one of the oldest bowl games in NCAA history. The bowl pits top teams from the Big 12 and Southeastern conferences each season. It once was considered an option to join the Bowl Championship Series, but it eventually stayed outside the "Big Four" games.
