Blu (Jesse Eisenberg) is a macaw who was born in Rio de Janeiro, but captured in the forest, went cold in Minnesota, USA. There is created by Linda (Leslie Mann), who has a strong emotional bond. One day, Tulio (Rodrigo Santoro) into the lives of both. Ornithologist, he says that Blu is the last male of the species and want it to mate with the only living female, which is in Rio de Janeiro.
